Bạn đang xem: Free keyword tool
Google Keyword Plannerused to be great for this. You could enter any ‘seed’ từ khóa & see tons of keyword suggestions, plus tìm kiếm volumes.

But Google has since restricted these numbers to ranges.

One solution is to use a tool like cheap-kenya-vacation-tips.com’ Keywords Explorerthatshows actual search volumes and tons of other SEO metrics.
But what if you’re starting out & can’t justify paying for any SEO tools?
Here are some không tính tiền từ khóa tools khổng lồ help kickstart your SEO with zero investment:

1. Google Trends
Google Trends visualizes the relative search popularity of a keyword overtime.
For example, if we look at the term “costumes” for the past five sầu years, we see that popularity spikes every October.

This is because of Halloween.
But how is this useful for từ khóa research?
For starters, it can help you plan your content calendar. Let’s assume you sell costumes online. Publishing or republishing a danh mục of the “10 Scariest Halloween Costumes for 20XX” each September/October makes perfect sense.
Here’s a less obvious example:

Interest in “iPhone specs” peaks every September when Apple launches a new iPhone.
If you run a tech blog, it would make sense to lớn update and republish any related posts every September.
Going beyond nội dung calendars, Trends can also help avoid targeting the wrong từ khóa.
Take a look at thesetwo:

If you could only create content for one of these keywords, which would you choose? It’d be the one with the highest search volume, right?
Not so fast, because tìm kiếm volumes areaverages taken across many months oryears.
If we check data for the past 12 months only in Google Trends, we see that searches for“táo Apple watch series 5” recently overtook those for “táo bị cắn dở watch series 3.”

So if you were running an ecommerce store và had to lớn prioritize one of these từ khoá, it would almost certainly be “táo Apple watch series 5.”
After all, searches for the Series 3 are only going to decrease as time goeson.

2. Keyword Generator
Keyword Generator finds up lớn 150 từ khóa ideas for any seed keywords.
For example, if we search for “bitcoin,” we get one hundred từ khoá ideas containing that word along with their estimated monthly tìm kiếm volumes.
We also see a danh sách of 50 question-type queries.
For the first ten từ khoá on each các mục, we also show the Keyword Difficulty (KD)score. This is a number between 0–100 that estimates ranking difficulty. Generally speaking, the higher it is, the more backlink you’ll need torank.
Sidenote.
Keyword Difficulty (KD) doesn’t take anything else inlớn account besides backlinks. It’s important lớn take content chất lượng, search intent, and website authority into trương mục when assessing ranking difficulty. Learn more in this post.
chú ý that tìm kiếm volumes và KD scores are relative khổng lồ the chosen country, which is the United States by default.
If you’re looking lớn rank elsewhere, just choose from one of the 170+ countries from the dropdown.

If you want khổng lồ generate a lot of từ khoá ideas fast, this is the tool for you. It pulls around 1,000 ideas per minute, and you can export the results for free in oneclick.
The only downside lớn Keyword Sheeter is that it’s quitebasic.
It doesn’t show search volumes or trends data, & it doesn’t group keyword as Keyword Planner does.
But it does have one other notable feature: positivevà negative filters.
The easiest way to explain how this works is lớn show an example. So let’s add “how” lớn the positive filter.

Now it only shows queries that contain the word “how”—i.e., informationalkeywords that might make for good blogposts.
The negativefilter does the opposite & excludes queries containing certain words.
This is useful for eliminating anything irrelevant. For example, if you run a tech blog and scrape results for “táo bị cắn,” then you probably only want to lớn see từ khoá relating to lớn Apple the company, not thefruit.
So you could exclude từ khoá lượt thích “pie,” “crumble,” “fruit,” and “cider.”

Do you want even more keyword ideas?
Try the Phrase matchreport in cheap-kenya-vacation-tips.com’ Keywords Explorer.
Keywords Explorer> enter seed từ khóa > Phrase match

Keywords Explorer doesn’t just pull more keywords ideas. It also shows SEO metricslike monthly tìm kiếm volume & Keyword Difficulty (KD).

The first thing you’ll see are questions.
These are search queries containing who, what, why, where, how, which, when, are, andis.
Examples:
whatprotein powder tastes best?howprotein powder ismadeareprotein powders fattening?whendoes protein powder expire? You’ll see a visualization by mặc định, but you can switch to a regular danh mục.

Next up, we have sầu propositions—i.e., for, can, is, near, without, with, and to.
These are tìm kiếm queries that fit the
Examples:
protein powder withoutcarbsprotein powder forweight gainprotein powder isit safeWe then have sầu comparisons—i.e., versus, vs, and, like, or.
Once again, the format is
Examples:
protein powder versusmeatprotein powder orchicken breastprotein powder likequestAnd finally, we have sầu alphabeticals& related.
Alphabeticalsare Google autocomplete suggestions.

And related, well, whoknows?
In my experience, the number of suggestions in the related category is almost always ~đôi mươi. I have no clue how it derives those keyword. But it does kiông chồng bachồng a few gems from time totime.
But where does ATP get its datafrom?
As far as we’re aware, that would be Google Keyword Planner and Google autosuggest.
Sidenote.
All data is exportable to lớn CSV. No need lớn register or login.
Answer the Public gives 160 question-type queries for the phrase “mèo.”
If we plug the same seed inlớn cheap-kenya-vacation-tips.com’ Keywords Explorer, we get 626,768 keywords—that’s 3,900x timesmore.

Of course, we’re flexing our big datamuscles here. For most people, Answer the Public has more than enough từ khoá suggestions. But when your site grows bigger, there’s always Keywords Explorer.

That said, these aren’t true global search volumes. It’s the total sum of searches from the 19 countries currently in their database.
Beyond this, the extension also adds tìm kiếm volume estimates lớn the autocomplete results:

And shows 10 “similar” từ khóa in the search results:

The only downside is that there’s no way to get tìm kiếm volumes inbulk.
That said, bulk research isn’t the aim of this extension. It’s more for assessing queries as you browse thewebsite.

7. Google Search Console
Google Search Console helps you traông chồng your website’s performance in organic tìm kiếm. This means it shows a lot of data about the từ khóa that you already rankfor.
For example, take a look at the “Search results” report from our tài khoản. It shows the từ khóa that have sầu sent the most traffic lớn the cheap-kenya-vacation-tips.com Blog over the past three months.

Let’s also toggle the “Average position” và “Average CTR” columns. These show each keyword’s average ranking position và click-through rate.

You can get a lot of useful insights from this report.
For instance, let’s say that you’re getting a lot of traffic from a keywords despite ranking in position 3–10. You may want to lớn focus on ranking higher for that instead of targeting new từ khoá.

If your CTR is low despite ranking high, your page may be less than enticing in the tìm kiếm results. You can often fix this by improving your title tagor meta mô tả tìm kiếm.
But what about finding new keywords?
Sort the report by CTR from low to lớn high. This often uncovers keywords that you’re ranking for but never targeted. If any of these have sầu lots of impressions và a low click-through rate, it could be worth targeting that keywords with a newpage.
For example, we rank in position 8 for “most searched person on Google.”

The page that ranks for this keywords is our các mục of the top 100 Google searches.

This is only a semi-relevant result for this keyword. We may rank higher with a blog post about the most Googled people, not things.

8. Questiondb
Questiondb finds the questions people are asking about a specific topic. It pulls these from a database of 48M questions sourced from Reddit.

Sidenote.
There are plans lớn expvà data sources in the future.
Questions are sorted by popularity, but you can also sort by topic. This is a super useful feature because it also groups questions together.
For instance, let’s search for “protein powder” và sort by topic. All questions about vegan protein powder are now grouped together.

Same goes for those about kelớn protein powders:
This is useful when writing blog posts, as it helps you underst& which questions lớn answer.
Speaking of answers, if you kiểm tra the box khổng lồ “Show source liên kết,” a clickable liên kết appears next to each question. This takes you khổng lồ the thread itself.

If you browse the comments, you can often find answers fast, which speeds up content research.
All questions are exportable to lớn CSV at the touch of a button.
9. Bulk Keyword Generator
Bulk Keyword Generator is a keywords research tool for local SEO. It generates keyword based on industry type.
To start, follow step 1 and choose a business type from the dropdown.

You will then see a menu of keywords relevant to the services or products youoffer.
For example, let’s phối “plumber” as the business type. We see queries like hot water installation, gas installation, drain cleaning, & drain relining.

Now, most businesses that offer these services will mention so on their trang web. But many fail khổng lồ create or optimize individual pages for these service-type queries.
To illustrate, take a look at this plumbing company’s homepage:

It states that they offer drain relining services, yet they don’t have sầu a page about this service. As a result, they’re outranked by those thatdo.

In step 2, the tool appends the chosen services with locations (e.g., London).

However, this isn’t particularly useful because it doesn’t reflect the way people actually tìm kiếm.
For instance, most Londoners wouldn’t tìm kiếm for “drain relining services in London.” They’d search for “drain relining” or “drain relining services.” Google serves local results either way, và the latter is quicker.

This is also why there’s often little or no volume for such terms in tools lượt thích cheap-kenya-vacation-tips.com’ Keywords Explorer.

So here’s a smarter idea:
Copy a handful of service-type từ khóa from the tool that apply khổng lồ your business;Paste the raw list into lớn Google Keyword Planner;Set the location khổng lồ a relevant đô thị orarea. For example, let’s type “drain relining” inlớn Keyword Planner & mix the location to lớn Nottingsay mê. There are 10–100 monthly searches.

10. Google
Google is perhaps themost powerful từ khoá research tool on the planet.
There’s the autocomplete feature for generating an almost infinite number of keywords ideas. But that’s only the tip of the iceberg when it comes lớn using Google for keyword research.
For starters, take notice of the “People also ask” box that shows up for some searches.

These are questions that Google knows searchers are asking and want to know the answers khổng lồ.
And here’s a quicktrick:
Click on any of these questions, and Google will loadmore.

Keep doing this, and you can generate an almost infinite menu of questions people are asking.
But Google’s use as a từ khoá retìm kiếm tool doesn’t endthere.
Let’s say that there’s a từ khóa you want lớn rank for. There are a lot of factors at play when it comes to lớn SEO, but one thing is certain:
If you want lớn rank, then your content needsto lớn align with tìm kiếm intent.
In other words, don’t try khổng lồ rank a thể hình homepage for a query lượt thích, “how to chiến bại weight?”
People who perkhung that search aren’t in buyingmode. They’re in learningmode.
Google is your best friend when it comes to lớn understanding search intent. Just look at the tìm kiếm results & the presence of SERPhường. features.
For example, imagine that we’re an tin nhắn sale tool & want to lớn rank for “tin nhắn sale.”
Looking at the search results for that query, we notice two things:
First, there’s a featured snippet.

This is almost always a sign of informationalintent. Searchers are in learning mode và want to lớn see blog posts & guides, not sản phẩm pages.
Second, there are quite a few beginner’s guides.

That tells us that most searchers are tin nhắn kinh doanh noobs who want to learn the absolute basics of tin nhắn sale.
So, that’s what we should create if we want lớn rank for this từ khoá.
Now, if we search for something totally different like “dress,” we see the opposite:
All the results are ecommerce sản phẩm or category pages, và Google even shows shopping ads.

This tells us the searcher is in buyingmode.
Bottom line? Don’t overlook Google as a keywords research tool. Keyword retìm kiếm is about more than just finding keyword. It’s about understanding who is searching for them và what they want tosee.
Free vs. paid từ khóa tools: how bởi they compare?
It’s simple: free từ khoá tools are limited compared khổng lồ paidtools.
That’s not khổng lồ say that không tính tiền tools don’t have sầu their uses. But the number of keyword ideas and data they give access to will always pale in comparison lớn paidtools.
Because of this, paid tools allow you to goway deeper và bởi vì more advanced marketing research.
To illustrate, here’s what happens if we type “protein powder” into lớn cheap-kenya-vacation-tips.com’ Keywords Explorer:

123,000+ “phrase match” suggestions from our database of 9.9 billion từ khóa.
No miễn phí từ khoá tool runs on a database thatlarge.
We also show tons of data points, including:
Estimated monthly search volume;Keyword Difficulty (KD);Clicks;CPCAnd everything is searchable, filterable, and returned in seconds.
